Viruses are usually tiny softwares that installed in your computer with out your will. They can damage important data and applications on your computer. In a network, they can affect all the computers in a network and can cause much greater harm. Viruses are nightmare for network administrators. Network administrators always take necessary measures to protect the network from any type of virus and other worms. Installing antivirus software on all the computers in the network, can provide the most effective protection against viruses. The important features of antivirus software are as follows:
An antivirus program continuously scans all the applications and other programs for any viruses. Whenever avirus is detected, antivirus takes measures to destroy it and secure the system.
